Hello I am a college athlete, 20 yrs old, 5’8 and weight 130 lbs. For a nutritionist or dietician out there what specific nutritional recommendations would you make to help me achieve optimal performance? To define in appropriate caloric intake and the balance/amount between macro and micronutrients. Would 8 cups of water be the average consumption for an athlete? Lastly, what pre-post exercise meals would you recommend? And why?
