IMO bitwine should set a minimum pricing structure.People offering services totally for free undercuts the whole system.

I totally agree. That is one reason the current site I work for is going under. They have chosen to advertise the free experts and now customers do not want to pay for services rendered.

Although, I don’t work for free nor is my fee set below $2 usd at this time.

setting a minimum price does not help anyone. some folks can afford 1 dollar a minute, others dont even have a dollar a day. you can set your price per customer, if you think that helps you start talking with the customer, then you agreee in a different price then advertised,.. then you go and set the price agreed, start conversation again, start taxing…

I agree. It would be great if they could also synchronize minimum prices with Jajah’s service so that an expert doesn’t inadvertently LOSE money while chatting with somebody in a distant nation!

I will take note of this concern, especially in regards to the Jajah aspect, however considering not all experts use that addon option, it may be hard to implement… it may be in the best interest of the advisor who does choose to use the Jajah option, to pre-calculate the worst case scenerio with any long distance or other fees and create their personal fee with this in mind…when setting their rates.

That’s impossible! I asked Jahjah what their highest fee was and they couldn’t tell me, besides which they change frequently. Thus I refuse to use Jajah. It would be great if you could partner with another company where the fees can’t accidentally slam the expert. Right now I’m using Click4Advisor for my telephone needs instead of BitWine because of that.

understood totally…if they do not have a set fee for using their services at long distance rates, that definately doesnt help anyone out. I will take a look at Jajah more closely, again thank you for brining this to our attention
